Bobby’s family and friends established The Bobby Marks, Jr. Memorial Fund to commemorate his life by recalling the enthusiasm with which he lived it and the love he shared with others.

Bobby suffered from a rare lung tumor and had part of his lung removed in 2005. Despite his surgery and follow-up tests, Bobby passed away in his sleep without warning on May 7, 2006 at the age of 26.

Devastated at such a loss, his family and friends wanted to do something to memorialize the wonderful person that Bobby was and bring the joy that he gave them to others.

Bobby is happily remembered for his playful smile, his contagious laugh, and his generosity.

Our goal is to make the organization as unique as the young man who forever changed our lives. The primary mission is to fund several scholarships in Bobby’s memory for students in need of financial assistance.

With the help of our donors and sponsors, the Bobby Marks, Jr. Memorial Fund also supports other worthy causes that are representative of those that Bobby cherished during his life.
